Location near Baile Brigin, County Dublin, Ireland
Description Bremore Castle is located north of the town of Balbriggan.
The castle was originally a large tower house, but is now in ruins. Fingal County Council, in conjunction with Balbriggan & District Historical Society, is restoring the castle based on how the castle appears in antiquarian drawings.
History Bremore Castle was built around the 16th century, and was the home of the Barnewall family. By the 20th century, the castle had fallen into disrepair and the upper storeys had collapsed leaving a single-storey ruin.
